Hand Pressed Tree Ring Print | Yew
My tree ring prints are prepared and printed by hand in small editions. The print is made directly from the wood slab. Due to the nature of hand printing, each print will have unique and subtle differences.

This tree is from Southern Vancouver Island, Canada. The trees were cut down a number of years ago to harvest the bark to make medicine for the treatment of breast and ovarian cancer (this drug is now made in the lab). The rest of the tree was abandoned.
Dimensions: 14" wide x up to 22" high (35.56 x 55.88 cm)
Can trim to size by request (would fit 14"x18" or 12"x16" frame)
Materials: Stonehenge art paper (warm white, 100% cotton. acid-free), high quality textured block printing ink
